I think it would be fun to be in that world co-operatively and see what horde battles could be like. So, would be with guys like Deacon trying to survive, building up a clubhouse or a crew. “But then take this world that you’ve built, and all these assets and systems, and repurpose them for some sort of similarly themed multiplayer version of this universe. But it wouldn’t have just been the two of you – cosy as that would have been. That means, online multiplayer would have had Deacon making an appearance as you helped the main character survive in a world of undead. Nor do I see how they could possibly make a Days Gone multiplayer that wasn’t hot. Every game doesn’t need a multiplayer mode and this was a very good single player game that I feel would benefit none at all from multiplayer. But rather than have the main feature suffer from all the attention needed by a cooperative mode, whether it was going to be built for launch day or even a later date, the studio was planning to repurpose the world from the first. I see posts and comments all the time of people saying they want a Days Gone multiplayer, I just don’t get it. Days Gone 2 was going to have a whole new story of its own.
